A good tweet from @patrickmjames: If the Clippers put as much energy into rebounding as complaining they'd by up 12.
  • 5/10/2014 3:47:00 AM Eric Pincus
Blake Griffin just blocked Durant - Ibaka called for his third on the other end - Clippers playing with the best energy they've had since this game started
  • 5/10/2014 3:47:41 AM melissa.rohlin
Not sure how Kevin Durant just got around every Clipper player for a layup. #MVP
  • 5/10/2014 3:47:42 AM Eric Pincus
Kevin Durant up to 21 - Griffin's dunk gets him to 16
  • 5/10/2014 3:48:17 AM Eric Pincus
Westbrook is in considerable pain on the floor after a hard fall
  • 5/10/2014 3:48:19 AM Mike.James
Ibaka picks up his third foul, on Griffin. Ibaka has played only nine minutes. Then Durant and Griffin trade down-the-lane drives for buckets.
  • 5/10/2014 3:49:30 AM Mike.James
Westbrook goes down hard on his left hip on a drive. That's going to be very sore Sunday morning.
  • 5/10/2014 3:49:54 AM Eric Pincus
Double techs there - Durant and CP3
  • 5/10/2014 3:50:25 AM Eric Pincus
Westbrook seems to be OK - just hit a three to tie it up at 55
  • 5/10/2014 3:51:54 AM Mike.James
Durant and Paul go at each other and get double Ts. Westbrook seems to be unfazed by the hip; he knocks down a three from the top of the key. Tie game with about a minute left in the half.
  • 5/10/2014 3:51:55 AM Eric Pincus
    Fouls update with a 1:06 left in half - Griffin/Davis have 3 for Clippers - Ibaka/Jackson 3 for Thunder
  • 5/10/2014 3:52:57 AM Mike.James
Good segment with Durant during a break. He says he doesn't like Chris Paul at all on the court, and Paul doesn't like him. But he says he and Paul are great friends off the court.
  • 5/10/2014 3:53:46 AM melissa.rohlin
Love watching CP3 and Westbrook go against each other. It's like a dream clinic for young point guards.
  • 5/10/2014 3:53:50 AM Eric Pincus
    Yeah, Westbrook is fine
  • 5/10/2014 3:54:45 AM Mike.James
An effortless drive by Chris Paul, followed by an anything-but-effortless did-I-just-see-that? drive by Westbrook.
  • 5/10/2014 3:54:53 AM melissa.rohlin
Oh hi, Matt Barnes. Until the second quarter, forgot you were playing. After going scoreless in the first, he has scored 9 pts.
  • 5/10/2014 3:55:00 AM Eric Pincus
Long 3-pointer from Chris Paul - Durant's misses on the other end - that's the half - LAC up 63 - OKC 61
  • 5/10/2014 3:56:01 AM melissa.rohlin
Halftime: Clippers 63, Thunder 61. Griffin has 16 points and CP3 has 14 points and eight assists. Durant leads OKC with 21 points on 7 for 13 shooting.
  • 5/10/2014 3:56:43 AM Mike.James
Final possession, Paul shoots from about 500 feet ... and it goes in. Clippers lead, 63-61, at the half. Fourteen lead changes in two quarters in which neither team allowed the other to get away.
  • 5/10/2014 3:58:01 AM Mike.James
What's the difference between the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference? The Clippers have 63 points in the first half; the Wizards scored 63 in the earlier game tonight. (Thanks to the telecast crew for that stat.)
  • 5/10/2014 4:04:25 AM Mike.James
The Clippers would really benefit from some contributions from Redick, who hasn't scored from the field, and Crawford, who is 2 for 8. They need to get something from someone other than Griffin (16 points) and Paul (14 points, 8 assists). ...
  • 5/10/2014 4:06:16 AM Mike.James
And, as usual, OKC's two superstars are carrying the Thunder. Durant has 21 points, Westbrook 13 with five assists. The game could boil down to whichever team can find some help for the two big guns.
  • 5/10/2014 4:07:45 AM Eric Pincus
Impressive that the Clippers are up 2 given the Thunder are shooting 54.8% - LAC at 46.8%
  • 5/10/2014 4:09:41 AM Mike.James
Couple of things I'm not crazy about: the incessant interruption in play of instant replay, and the halftime show on ESPN as opposed to TNT.
  • 5/10/2014 4:13:09 AM Eric Pincus
2nd half - game back on
  • 5/10/2014 4:14:23 AM melissa.rohlin
KD has 23 points, nearly twice as many as any of his teammates.
  • 5/10/2014 4:14:45 AM Mike.James
Durant gets it going with an open 18-footer. Looks like that he could make that shot 98 out of 100 times.
  • 5/10/2014 4:14:51 AM Eric Pincus
Difficult stretch there for Perkins who is blocked by DeAndre - then called for an offensive foul
  • 5/10/2014 4:15:56 AM Mike.James
Big-time block on Perkins by Jordan, but it leads to nothing when Griffin's fadeaway banker is short.
  • 5/10/2014 4:18:40 AM Mike.James
Whole lotta nothing going on for the Clippers on offense as OKC moves on top, 68-65.
  • 5/10/2014 4:19:21 AM melissa.rohlin
Not sure the Clippers know that the 3rd quarter has begun. They've been totally absent on the offensive end so far.
  • 5/10/2014 4:19:45 AM Eric Pincus
Thunder under more control to start the third after that stretch that saw the Clippers take a halftime lead
  • 5/10/2014 4:20:04 AM Mike.James
Thinking it might not be a bad time for Doc to start thinking about a timeout. The Thunder is taking advantage of the Clippers, who seem to standing around too much. ... And just like that, Chris Paul goes coast to coast to cut it to one....
  • 5/10/2014 4:20:45 AM Eric Pincus
Durant is up to 29 points but Westbrook at 13 - Clippers can live with that
  • 5/10/2014 4:21:34 AM melissa.rohlin
Blake scores two buckets in a row, cutting the Clippers' deficit to one, 72-71.
  • 5/10/2014 4:22:18 AM Eric Pincus
Chris Paul upset at a non-call - flirting with a 2nd technical but quickly cools himself down
  • 5/10/2014 4:22:22 AM Mike.James
Westbrook finds Durant down the lane; Griffin finds Jordan, who is caught off guard and fumbles. LAC maintains control, and Griffin scores from outside again.
  • 5/10/2014 4:22:32 AM melissa.rohlin
    CP3 now has a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists.
