It's always a bit shocking to me when fans sitting courtside leave early. If I paid 54938549035843905843905843 to see something, you can bet your bottom dollar I wouldn't leave until the final whistle.

Clippers were in the game - when it came down to the guts of it - Durant and Westbrook made big shots and CP3 didn't

Melissa - Clippers aren't as expensive as Lakers - take away a few digits

Eric - Anything over 3 digits looks the same to me...

A consolation 3 from JJ Redick - 116-112 OKC with 4.7 - Thunder ball - don't see how Clippers score 4 points without the ball

Generous clock - Clippers get the foul with 3.8 left - now all the Thunder need to do is miss two FT and foul a three-point make

You know you should stop fouling when a diehard Clippers fan behind me yells "Game is over. Let them by."

That's a wrap. OKC did everything it needed to and played very tough defense in the closing minutes to pull away as the Clippers fritter away any advantage they might have gotten from the split in Oklahoma City in Games 1 and 2.  Game 4 is Sunday at 12:30. 118-112.

Final: OKC 118, Clippers 112. The Thunder lead their second round playoff series, 2-1. Game 4 will be at Staples Center on Sunday.

I actually don't take much away from Game 3s - one team is going to be up 2-1 in this situation - Game 4 is the guts of the series

A quick look at the box - Thunder shoot 55.7% - 44-33 advantage on glass 85.7% FT (24-28) -- Clippers just 45.2% from the field and short but close at the line (21-25).

Forcing turnovers kept LAC in it 14-6
