Authorities are pleading with Glendora residents to heed evacuation orders. But they're warning residents choosing to stay put that that if disaster strikes they'll have to hunker down and wait it out until it's safe for crews to assist.

Waterkeeper program manager, was up very early today to collect water samples of runoff from an auto dismantler in Sunland.Volunteers and staffers collected storm runoff from recycling yards and other facilities.
